Skratch officially introduced this course in march 2020 during the COVID 19 lockdown after working on the course module extensively for 2-3 months. The course can be done from the comfort of home online with a personal training session with the finest trainers.
The course includes tutorial videos on the basics of DJing which are sent to the student every day and a video call with the faculty to explain the same and clear any doubts.
Homework and assignments are given to check the progress of the student to ensure quality education. The course is software-based hence no technical gear is required and just a laptop with a high-speed broadband network is required to pursue the 7-day long course of 1-hour lesson each day.
The minimum age required to learn the course is 8 years with no previous knowledge on music required. Professionals, students and homemakers are keen to learn the course as in this modern era Djing is becoming one of the prominent methods to get involved in music.

There is no prescribed age to learn music, we at Skratch have got the youngest student of 10 years and the eldest of 63 years.
Are the timings flexible?
Yes, a student can take his choice of slot depending on the availability of the same. though a fixed schedule is recommended to avoid unavailability of slots.
What all do i need to carry in the class?
Only a notebook is what a student needs to carry along. Though out of hygiene issues we recommend our students to bring their own headphones to the class.
What if my course doesn’t finish in the given number of hours?
We at Skratch believe that every student has a different grasping power, the number of hours is to give you an estimated idea of the course duration. In actual the course will go according to the syllabus. Our faculty will not move to the next topic until they are satisfied with the performance. Also, the certificate shall only be issued after the examination.
Does academy provides me music to play?
Skratch offers lifetime unlimited music support to its students. you can anytime visit the academy and get a free music upgrade on any genre. In the beginning of the course the students can bring their hard drives and a get music collection of multiple genres.
Do I have to reapply for the course if not able to clear the examination?
No, the examination is just to check if you lack knowledge about a certain topic(s). And if we feel so we will teach you whatever you lack free of cost and arrange re-exam to make sure that it is clear to you.
My English is not fluent will I get any trouble in learning or performing?
